I was unable to reserve the meeting room, so we will just need to occupy what ever space is available (we will reserve the meeting room there, or elsewhere in the future)  Look for a table with our county logo hanging off of the side.  I will try to make it conspicuous.

The County Party is going through a bit of a reboot, and we would love your feedback and to share some ideas with you about the future.

Important Correction for Form 2-M / County Central Committee

I was just at the Summit County Board of Public Elections and the workers there informed me that on Form 2-M, when you get down the the portion where you check the second box, the Precinct is the letter after the name of the municipality. 

for instance, mine is listed as: Precinct: 4050/1 MOGADORE A 

So I enter Precinct A, City or Village of Mogadore   

Again, I apologize for the oversight.  You have until Dec. 7th at 4:00 pm to submit, but I would try to get it done By Monday the 5th of December at the latest.

Here is the form http://www.sos.state.oh.us/sos/upload/elections/forms/2-M.pdf , you will need to bring it filled out (and I recommend bringing a blank too, just in case) to:

Don't be shy about asking one of the workers to look over the form for you.  They are nice and professional people in my experience. 

We need you on our Central Committee!! So take this simple step, I will be eternally greatful!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Central Committee Election

There is a rapidly approaching deadline, December 7th, in which all forms and petitions are due for the primary elections next year.  It is very important that we have Central Committee members on the ballot.

Also, I have some other petitions for you to sign for State House and Senate positions.

Please follow the following steps if you would like to be on the Central Committee, which I urge you to do, as you will be voting members for the most important apparatus of the Summit County Libertarian Party:

Go to: http://www.summitcountyboe.com/WebApps/vtrlookup.aspx and make sure that you are a registered Libertarian (if you pulled a Libertarian ballot in the last primary you should be)


Click "Voter Detail" by your name and figure out which precinct you are in.

You can read the details like this:
 Precinct: 0040/1 AKRON 1-D 
As Precinct 0040/1, City/Village Akron, Polling location 1-D  Correction: Precinct D, City/Village of Akron

Now go here: http://www.sos.state.oh.us/sos/upload/elections/forms/2-M.pdf (pdf file)
Print the form out.  Most of the fields are self-explanatory.  


When you get to the section with the check boxes, check the second one and enter the information from the above step.


The Primary Date is The 6th Day, of March, 2012.

Kurtis Liston is resigning from his position as Executive Committee Chair, effective immediately, Nicholas N. Burdohan has been appointed to fill this vacancy, until the next election for officers of the Summit County Libertarian Party in the Spring of 2012.  Kurtis Liston is retaining his position as Central Committee Chair.
